During the Brazilian Hair Straightening process, keratin and protein fill these gaps and damaged areas, and heat flattens and seals the shaft down.

What does the treatment involve?

Clear a few hours for this appointment! First Dawn will wash and dry your hair. Next she'll meticulously coat your hair, section-by-section, using a spray bottle of the straightening product and a comb. The more hair you have, the longer it will take. Once your hair is thoroughly coated, Dawn will use a very hot blow dryer and assorted round brushes to completely dry and style it, section by section, as only a professional can. The amount of body she allows during the treatment is important, because it defines the daily appearance of treated hair. Under Dawn's care, you won't end up with hair that is stiff and unnaturally straight. The final step is to set the hair style with a hot flat iron. The process takes two to three hours. When finished, your hair will feel soft and have instant amazing volume and shine. In fact, your hair color and highlights (which should be applied shortly before the straightener) will look noticeably healthier and even more natural. The best part is that your hair will look fabulous every day of the week...no smoothing serum, gel, mousse, hair spray, or flat iron required!
